On 7 October 2017, I visited Charly’s Bakery. I haven’t been there in such a long time and I’ve been dying to go back, I had been there a few times in 2012 and 2013 and my mother would always bring me cupcakes back from there when she would go to the bakery. I absolutely love their baked goods- especially the cupcakes and petifors. They are in Cape Twon (38 Canterbury street, Zonnebloom).

I love the exterior and interior of Charly’s and it was so creatively designed. Their main colour scheme is pink and white. It is one of my favourite places because of how quirky and cute it is and because the baked goods are always so colourful and taste amazing!

I have tried their vanilla cookie monster cupcakes before, they’re huge and really delicious. I’ve tried the petifors- which are probably one of my favourites because they have marzipan in them. Their chocolate cupcakes are also really, really good and yesterday I had a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing and it was decorated as a unicorn, I absolutely loved it!

I really do recommend you go and try Charly’s Bakery, especially if you have a really sweet tooth and love going to quirky bakeries, they truly do have some amazing things available there. They aren’t the cheapest bakery but I don’t think they’re pricing isn't too bad, it is more something you do every once in a while.
